Welcome!
Hi, I’m Daniele!
As a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT), I’m an open-minded, approachable guide here to help you navigate anxiety and enhance your self-worth. My goal is to help you overcome self-criticism, foster inner peace and create more rewarding, balanced relationships. I’m passionate about empowering my clients to speak up, live their truth, and build stronger connections.
With 16 years of experience working with youth, families, and the LGBTQIA community, I’ve seen how disconnected families can learn to form stronger bonds and individuals can lead more authentic lives. I believe in the power of laughter as a healing tool and offer a compassionate, humorous approach to therapy. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, trauma, or seeking to improve communication, I’m here to help you find your voice and create lasting change.
How I Can Help
In our sessions, you can expect a blend of practical strategies, humor, and compassion in a non-judgemental space to address your unique concerns and needs. My approach is grounded in the idea that you are the expert in your life, and I am a guide to help you to meet your goals. I use mindfulness and a client-centered approach, designed to empower you to live more authentically, gain clarity, and achieve the changes you believe or don't believe you can make.
Together, we will focus on uncovering limiting beliefs and core wounds or old patterns, as well as implementing strategies to create new patterns to help you improve your overall mental health and wellness and strengthen your relationships.
Professional Background
My diverse experiences and education have fueled my passion for supporting others.
Here’s a glimpse into how my background equips me to support you effectively on your journey.
How I Got Here
My path to becoming a therapist began with the desire to help families communicate. Over the years, I have worked with families of various cultural, linguistic and socioeconomic backgrounds. I am a first-generation American and am also a member of the LGBTQ+ community. I've provded in-service trainings at former places of employment on family therapy and on building competency in working with the LGBTQ+ population. I have also gained experience in working from a more mindfulness-based approach and have worked with teens and adults to help reduce anxiety and stress and improve self-worth. These experiences have profoundly influenced my approach and solidified my commitment to helping people find their voices and live more authentically.
Education & Training
I hold a master's degree in Counseling Psychology from USC, where I specialized in marriage and family therapy. Additionally, I have completed training in family systems work, LGBTQ+ populations, mindfulness, holistic approaches to wellness, AD/HD, and various other areas of mental health.
