Welcome!

Hi, I’m Lauren!

I’m passionate about helping my clients empower themselves from the inside out.

The most powerful thing someone can say to you is what you say to yourself. Somewhere along the way, you internalized a narrative—“I’m not good enough.” Your critical mind has declared you should be smaller, be better, be different. Sometimes, those thoughts become so loud that they eclipse everything else, leading to an unhealthy obsession. Your life should not be a constant internal battle. You have the power to break these cycles, align with your true self, and finally feel at home in your body. And you don’t have to carry this burden alone.

How I Can Help

As a former student athlete, I’m no stranger to the obsession, control, and self-worth struggles many of us face. These challenges have shaped my approach and understanding as a therapist. Over the past decade, I have coached and empowered women to improve their lives and block out the noise of societal expectations. My mission is to help you find freedom from the cycles that keep you stuck and build a life where you feel confident and at peace.

In our sessions, you can expect empathy, warmth, and skill-building. Whether navigating the emotional aftermath of a miscarriage or divorce, or confronting challenges like depression and disordered eating, my approach is rooted in deep compassion and understanding. I specialize in intuitive eating and Health at Every Size (HAES) methodologies to support you in overcoming obstacles related to food, body image, and movement. Together, we’ll transform your relationship with nourishment and self-acceptance by reshaping negative thought patterns and fostering a renewed sense of trust in yourself.

Professional Background

My diverse experiences and education have fueled my passion for supporting others.

Here’s a glimpse into how my background equips me to support you effectively on your journey.

How I Got Here

My path to becoming a therapist began with my own experience with therapy and the support it gave me to navigate life. I knew I wanted to support others like I was being supported. Over the years, I have worked with a wide variety of adults, couples, and teens who have allowed me into their world, creating a meaningful therapeutic relationship. These experiences have profoundly influenced my approach and solidified my commitment to serving and supporting my clients to the best of my ability with empathy and compassion.
