Welcome!

Hello I’m Martha,

Today you are one step closer to a new you where you feel empowered and on a positive path to growth and well-being. As a CBT and Solution-Focused therapist, my goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we will unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

In our sessions, you can expect support, problem-solving skills, and enhanced coping strategies for issues such as depression, anxiety, relationship troubles, unresolved childhood issues, grief, and stress management to address your unique concerns and needs. My approach is grounded in CBT and Solution-Focused therapy, designed to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating.

Together, we will focus on providing therapy for depression, grief counseling to parenting support, couples counseling, PTSD, and beyond via a highly personalized approach tailored to the individual needs to help attain the personal growth you’re striving for to help you.

Professional Background

My diverse experiences and education have fueled my passion for supporting others.

Here’s a glimpse into how my background equips me to support you effectively on your journey.

How I Got Here

My path to becoming a therapist began with running a child daycare in my home and before that, I helped run a small Residential Care Facility for the Elderly. For a number of years, I was a Respiratory Care Practitioner and had to help patient’s families deal with death of loved one’s in the Hospital setting. Over the years, I have worked as an LMFT and MFLC (Military and Family Life Counselor) in Barstow and Fort Irwin military base. These experiences have profoundly influenced my approach and solidified my commitment to want to continue helping communities learn how to deal with life stressors in a productive healthy manner.

Education & Training

I am in the progress of completing my Psy.D. In Clinical Applied Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, presently I hold an MA in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, where I specialized in Marriage and Family therapy. Additionally, I have completed my BA in Child Development Psychology which further enhanced my expertise in working with families, children, adolescents, and adults.
